从事慢性病分子流行病学研究，主要关注感染相关肿瘤、肝癌及非酒精性脂肪肝等慢性肝脏疾病的遗传和行为、营养等环境影响因素及交互作用研究。

复旦大学医学学士和流行病学硕士，美国加州大学洛杉矶分校流行病学博士，美国哈佛大学陈曾熙公共卫生学院营养学系访问学者。完成或主持国家自然科学基金青年项目和面上项目、上海市卫健委青年科研项目；作为课题负责人完成科技部国家重点研发计划精准医学研究和上海市公共卫生体系建设第四轮三年行动计划重点学科项目等。开展男性HIV感染者HPV感染自然史及遗传、菌群等影响因素研究。作为骨干人员参与上海郊区自然人群队列数据和生物样本库建设，并开展非酒精性脂肪肝等代谢性疾病相关遗传、营养与行为危险因素探索。在国内外学术期刊上累计发表论著80余篇，包括Nature Communications, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, International Journal of Cancer等杂志。承担本科与研究生流行病学教学任务，参编《肿瘤流行病学》《流行病学案例与分析》《流行病学常识与解读》《流行病学原理（第二版）》《Epidemiology》等教材。
