在全球卫生研究领域,干预的有效实施需要研究者及时发现并努力克服卫生体系和项目实施过程中的诸多障碍,这类实施性质的研究其重要性现已被广泛认识。这种形式的研究,涉及卫生干预中的瓶颈问题的解决、特定背景下最优方案的选择、以及促进研究成果的转化利用,其终极目标是为了促进卫生保健及其服务水平的提升。
该研讨班由复旦大学全球健康研究所和复旦大学海外名师项目共同举办。招生面向CCUGH成员单位、中华预防医学会全球球卫生分会委员单位和全国其他相关单位的青年骨干教师、博士后和在校博士生。具体安排如下:

汤胜蓝 教授
汤胜蓝,获美国杜克大学医学和全球卫生学Mary & James Semans教授称号,美国杜克大学全球健康研究所副所长、昆山杜克大学全球健康研究中心创始人,同时,也是复旦大学公共卫生学科海外名师。汤教授有30多年的卫生系统改革、疾病控制及妇幼卫生研究经验,研究足迹遍布中国、马拉维、南非、越南等中低收入国家。发表了多篇同行评议杂志文章,许多发表在著名杂志《柳叶刀》上。他还是许多国际组织和发展中国家政府进行卫生系统强化的咨询顾问。他还承担了许多杂志的编辑或编委工作,如《社会科学及医学》、《卫生政策与规划》、《中国卫生政策研究》及著名BMC杂志之一的《贫困所致传染病》英文杂志。
Henry LUCAS 教授
Henry LUCAS 教授目前担任英国萨塞克斯大学发展研究所研究员。他是一名著名的统计学专家,擅长信息系统研究、监测评估及研究方法制定,特别是卫生分析领域内研究。他与复旦大学,中国卫生经济研究所和中国卫生计生委卫生统计与信息中心等机构建立了广泛的合作伙伴关系,主要关注监测评估研究。同时,他也参与了中国国家卫生服务调查方案的设计及分析工作。他还是许多大型研究的主要研究者,包括:中国结核病干预的过程评估;探索柬埔寨、中国和老挝贫困农村贫困与健康之间的联系;以及对尼日利亚两个主要的国际发展部保健计划的监督和评估。在英国及海外,他有20多年的研究生及政府官员课程培训经验,这些课程主要包含研究方法,监测与评估,统计和信息系统研究。最近,他参与了两个欧盟资助的项目,主要为撒哈拉以南非洲和南亚的大学设计卫生系统研究和健康状况的社会维度方向网络教育研究生培训材料,其中包括与“实施研究”有关的开放性电子书。

Workshop on Implementation Research in Global Health
The importance of research in identifying solutions and options for overcoming implementation obstacles in health system and programs is widely recognized in global health. This form of research addressed implementation bottlenecks, identifies optimal approaches for a particular setting, and promotes the uptake of research findings. Ultimately, it leads to improved health care ad its delivery.
The workshop is co-organized by Fudan Global Health Institute and Fudan Overseas Expert Program. The expected target audience are young academician in global health, post-doctoral and PhD. students from CCUGH member institutions; and the member of global health branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. The detail arrangements are as the following.

Invited Lecturers:
Prof. Prof. Shenglan TANG
Shenglan Tang, Mary & James Semans Professor of Medicine and Global Health, Duke University, USA. Associate Director of Duke Global Health Institute, and Founding Director of Global Health Research Center of Duke Kunshan University. He is also distinguished overseas professor of public health at Fudan University. Prof. Tang has more than three decades of experience undertaking research on health systems reform, disease control, and maternal and child health in China, Malawi, South Africa, Vietnam and other low and middle income countries, and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, including several in the Lancet. He has also been a consultant on health systems strengthening to many international organizations and governments of developing countries. He is an editor or editorial board member of several journals, including Social Science and Medicine, Health Policy and Planning, Chinese Journal of Health Policy, and BMC Infectious Diseases of Poverty.
Prof. Henry LUCAS
Prof. Henry LUCAS currently works as a fellow in the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK. He is a famous statistician who has specialised in information systems, monitoring and evaluation and research methods, particularly in the area of health sector analysis. He has an extensive consultancy experience, mainly focusing on Monitoring and Evaluation and many years of experience in China under partnership agreements with Fudan University, the China Health Economics Institute and the Centre for Health Statistics and Information. He also involved in the design and analysis of the China National Health Services Survey. Principal researcher in a number of large-scale studies, including: process evaluation of TB interventions in China; exploration of the links between poverty and health in poor rural areas of Cambodia, China and Lao PDR; and the monitoring and evaluation of two major DFID health care programmes in Nigeria. Over twenty years’ experience in running courses for graduate students and government officials on research methods, M&E, statistics and information systems both in the UK and overseas. Recently involved in two EU funded projects to design and implement web-based post-graduate training materials on health systems research and social dimensions of health for universities in sub-Saharan Africa and Southern Asia, including the production of an open-access e-book on implementation research.
