Dear Sir or Madam,

The Erasmus Observatory on Health Law / Institute of Health Policy & Management (Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands) announces the annual Summer school on Health Law and Ethics (30 June – 8 July 2016), providing students, professionals and practitioners, with an opportunity for intensive training in various aspects of health law and ethics over a two-weeks period (you can sign up for 1 week or 2 weeks), while absorbing the sights, sounds and culture unique to Rotterdam and the Netherlands. The Summer school offers a custom-developed course taught by leading academics in their field.

The course is designed to enhance the preparation of our participants confronted with legal and ethical issues. The course focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects of health law and ethics.

A Certificate of Attendance will be presented to participants who wish to take the course for academic credit.

Visit our https://www.bmg.eur.nl/erasmus_observatory_on_health_law/summerschool_on_health_law_and_ethics_2017 for more information.

Keep in mind that the tuition fee is including reading materials and access to library/study facilities, but excluding all other costs such as accommodation, living and travel expenses. Lunch (during the program) and course materials will be included. Costs of accommodation depends on your stay. We have contracts with nearby hotels/hostels to accommodate students during the Summer school programme in Rotterdam.

Furthermore we recommend that international participants apply at least 3 months before the Summer school starts. It is the participant's responsibility to apply for a visa at the Dutch Embassy or Consulate in their home country. Just let me know if you need for your visa a Letter of Invitation.

For the possibilities of presenting during the Summer school you can contact the Course Director: prof. André den Exter (denexter@bmg.eur.nl).

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (hollen@bmg.eur.nl).

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Toby Hollen, LL.M
