Globalization is increasing rapidly, creating a need for integrated and multi-disciplinary approaches to Global Health. Reproductive health conditions over the life-cycle, such as those related to adolescence, childbearing, sexual activity, and aging, represent a significant burden of disease on a global scale, contributing extensively to morbidity and disability in low and middle-income counties.
Fudan framework program for global health is focused on multidisciplinary approaches to reproductive health training in perspectives of global health context for the new generations of health professionals and policy makers in China and other developing countries. It is expected that this effort will help China and other developing countries to respond with increased success to local health challenges and thereby reduce disease burdens globally.
